Locally owned since 2016
Montgomery County's water damage team
Mammoth is a family-owned restoration company based in Gaithersburg. We treat every home the way we would want our own treated.
Who we are
Mammoth Water Damage & Mold started in 2016 with a simple idea: when water is pouring into someone's home, they should reach a real person and see a truck in their driveway within half an hour. That is still how we run things.
We serve every community in Montgomery County, MD: Gaithersburg, Rockville, Bethesda, Silver Spring, Germantown, Potomac, Chevy Chase, Olney and everywhere in between. Our technicians are certified by the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC), the industry standard for restoration work.
Certifications
- IICRC Water Restoration Technician (WRT)
- IICRC Applied Structural Drying (ASD)
- IICRC Applied Microbial Remediation Technician (AMRT)
- Licensed and insured in Maryland
How we work
- Inspection & moisture mapping. Thermal cameras and moisture meters measure water in walls, floors and the air. Every affected area gets treated, and no unnecessary work gets done.
- Emergency water extraction. Truck-mounted extraction units pull standing water out fast. The faster water leaves, the less secondary damage and the smaller the restoration bill.
- Structural drying & dehumidification. Industrial dehumidifiers and air movers dry walls, subfloors and ceiling cavities. Daily readings matter in Montgomery County's humid climate, where mold can start within 24 to 48 hours.
- Cleaning & sanitizing. Belongings are cleaned and sanitized. Carpet, clothing and drapery get antimicrobial treatment, and air scrubbers clear particles and moisture from the air.
